This shade is the No. 373-white Aladdin Whip-o-Lite shade from 1947. The design was also available as No. 372 tan. I'm lucky enough to have both of them in my collection and the descriptions can be confusing.
This shade when not lit is tan Whip-o-lite shade paper with a white design and white flocking on the foliage, which is just about the opposite of what it appears to be lit. The tan version of this shade has Whip-o-Lite paper than is more brown but the flocking and design on it are tan. Don't let the color of the Whip-o-lite paper foot you. Always look at the color of the design when you are trying to determine if you have the tan or the white version.
